The 98 RON costs 8 USD/US-gallon (Gas & exchange-rate price from today) The 118 HP engine is/was about 2.300 USD cheaper then the 163 HP engine (same equipment-Line).

Top speed is academic unless you go on a track but NA means that for acceleration you need to use the gears to keep the revs up. Mazda set up your AWD auto for economy so you are stuck unless you drive it as a manual. If you don't really need the AWD the FWD 6 speed manual 2.5 would have been your best option.
I have a 2019 CX 5 with the 2.5 liter turbo Skyactive engine, The manual states that the car makes 227 HP with 87 octane and 250 HP with 93 octane but no difference in torque, And the turbo is tuned for low RPM boost to give it a lot of torque.

Apr 25, 2019. #10. The Wix 57002 does not have all the bells and whistles as a normal Wix. They copied the OEM specs and is made in the Mexico Wix plant. I am going to buy a new Miata and researched filters. Found a source for Tokyo Rei made filters for 8+ bucks and the Thailand filters for 6+ bucks.
