Depending on your preferences a modded 3ds would be a more cost effective method of playing the classics. Just get an everdrive, well worth it. However, iRacing does a better job in providing graphic details on every part of their simulation, including the details of the racing environment. In the past, iRacing was clearly ahead of Assetto Corsa in terms of graphic quality, especially when it comes down to both environment and racing display details. Regardless, Assetto Corsa has done Im dying for new Forza Motorsport, and envying Grand Turismo videos. At least expecting as Assetto Corsa was in Game Pass, this could be too in the future. You can usually find ACC on sale for like 10 or 15 bucks if you want to try it. The DLC you can find for $5 a piece if you get them on a good sale.

Infact it's probably less than that since it only has a handful of tracks raced in the real life series. But it is an amazing game. At the moment it's my main sim. If you're looking for an all rounder that isn't iRacing, try They brake at places where you never brake and hit you a lot. I would recommend Assetto Corsa Competizione (sometimes people get confused, it's a new game, not the original Assetto Corsa). It has its issues and there are sims that are better in many aspects, but it overall strikes a good balance. Yes it is. Just make sure to get content manager as it makes navigating the game a hell of a lot easier. It also has a lot of great tools for just about anything you can think of. There is a bit of a learning curve with content manager but it is worth it in the end. .
